Licence terms, in plain language.
Short version: one key, one machine, use it to process media you have the right to use, do not resell the software, and do not expect it to guarantee platform outcomes.
1. What you are buying
A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to install and use RepurposeThis on one machine. The software is licensed, not sold. The price is $25 USD unless another amount is agreed in writing in the purchase conversation.
2. Activation and transfers
- Keys are bound to a machine ID and verified offline. One machine per key.
- A first transfer to a new machine is free on request. Later transfers may carry a reissue fee.
- Reinstalling on the same machine does not consume a transfer.
- Multi-machine use requires a multi-seat key, quoted before purchase.
3. What you may do
- Use the app for commercial work, including client projects.
- Process unlimited files, for unlimited clients, with no per-render payment.
- Export and share presets you create.
- Keep using the version you have, indefinitely.
4. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the application or a licence key.
- Publish the installer or a modified build as your own product.
- Circumvent the activation check, or use a key issued for another machine.
- Use the app to infringe copyright, impersonate people, or break the rules of the platforms you publish to.
5. Your media, your responsibility
You keep all rights to the files you process and to the outputs. You are responsible for having the rights to the source material and for complying with the terms of service of every platform you upload to. The app changes files; it does not grant rights, and it cannot make an unlawful use lawful.
6. No guarantee of platform outcomes
RepurposeThis measures and changes file-level characteristics. It does not promise reach, engagement, monetisation, account safety or immunity from duplicate detection. Any statement about an algorithm is outside the scope of this licence.
7. Refunds
A delivered key cannot be returned. Refunds are limited to cases where the software does not run on your machine and support cannot resolve it. Ask questions before buying if your hardware or workflow is unusual.
8. Updates and support
Bug-fix releases within the 2.x line are free. Support is provided through Telegram on a best-effort basis, usually within a few hours. There is no uptime or response-time guarantee, because there is no server and no call centre.
9. Warranty and liability
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those required by applicable consumer law. To the maximum extent permitted, the seller is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost content, or account actions taken by third-party platforms. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.
10. Termination
This licence terminates if you breach sections 4 or 5. On termination you must stop using and delete the application. Sections 5, 6, 9 and this section survive.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated with a new release. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought, and a copy is available on request.
