Every control, with its real range.

No “magic” slider that hides what it does. Below is the complete list from the pipeline, including the step size the app randomises on, and the order the filters run in.

15 video 15 audio 5 container 13 image
Pipeline order

colour → vignette → noise → perspective → curves → zoom → rotation → flip → chroma shift → scale → speed

Audio is processed on its own graph, then the container flags are written last. The order is fixed so a preset produces the same structure everywhere; only the random draws differ per copy.

Frame controls

Each control can be switched on or off per preset. When it is on, every copy draws its own value from the range you set.

EffectRangeStepWhat it changes
Brightness−0.20 … +0.200.05Luma offset across the frame.
Contrast0.80 … 1.200.05Distance between shadows and highlights.
Saturation0.70 … 1.300.05Colour intensity, independent of brightness.
Gamma0.80 … 1.200.05Mid-tone curve without clipping the ends.
Vignette0.20 … 0.800.10Radial falloff toward the corners.
Film noise4 … 121Temporal grain, uniform or patterned, seeded per copy.
Perspective0 / 1—Corner shear of the frame geometry.
Luma curves0 / 1—S-curve remap of luminance.
Zoom1.02 … 1.12×0.02Crop then rescale, centred or anchored to a preset corner.
Mirror (hflip)0 / 1—Horizontal flip of the whole frame.
Pixel shift0 / 1—Offsets the colour channels by one pixel.
Random size0 / 1—Width and height jitter within the preset bounds.
Random 9:16 size0 / 1—Vertical framing jitter for short-form outputs.
Blurred border8 … 24 px4Blurred fill around a slightly scaled frame.
Speed0.95 … 1.05×0.01Timing change with matching audio tempo.

Audio controls

Applied only when the source has an audio stream. A silent video skips this graph entirely rather than failing.

EffectRangeStepWhat it changes
Volume0.90 … 1.100.02Overall gain, kept subtle.
Waveform shift1 … 20 ms1Offsets the waveform against the video clock.
Pitch−1 … +1 st0.25Semitone shift without a tempo change.
Spectral tilt0 / 1—Broad high/low emphasis.
Reverb40 … 120 ms10Short room tail.
Equalizer−6 … +6 dB1Multi-band tone shaping.
Chorus20 … 60 ms5Modulated short delay.
Flanger1 … 25 ms1Swept comb filter.

Vibrato2 … 8 Hz1Pitch modulation.
Compression−30 … −10 dB2Dynamic range control.
De-esser−4 … −20.5Tames harsh sibilance introduced by other stages.

Encoder and container

The layer that most “uniqueizers” leave untouched. RepurposeThis rewrites it for every copy, and can rebuild the metadata as US-region device output.

ControlRangeStepWhat it changes
Frame rate24 … 30 fps1Frame timing and container header.
Video bitrate1500 … 6000 kbps500Encoder bitrate, and therefore file size.
Audio bitrate96 … 256 kbps32Audio track encoding.
Trim start0 … 5 %1Trims the head of the clip per copy.
Trim end0 … 5 %1Trims the tail of the clip per copy.
US metadataon / off—Strips source metadata and writes fresh US-region device tags.

What actually moves the fingerprint

Geometry and grain, not colour alone.

On most footage, colour tweaks barely move a perceptual hash. Small geometric changes and per-copy grain do. That is not folklore — it is what the Fingerprint Lab reports when you measure it.

  • High impact: pixel shift, zoom, perspective, film noise, crop.
  • Medium: luma curves, vignette, blurred border, rotation.
  • Low alone: brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma.

These are tendencies, not guarantees. The lab ranks effects on your source because a still portrait and a fast-moving clip do not respond the same way.

More is not automatically better

A preset that pushes every slider to the limit produces visibly degraded copies, and platform moderators notice artefacts faster than hashes notice colour. The useful strategy is a few strong geometric effects, a light grain pass, a real audio change and a rebuilt container.

Start from a built-in preset, run 10 copies, look at the contact sheet, then widen only the effects that measured low in the lab.

Ten copies on your footage will tell you more than any table. The app is the same $25 either way.
