RepurposeThis
Privacy

Privacy is an architecture decision.

The app cannot leak your media because it has no upload path. This page covers the few places where data exists at all: the website, the purchase conversation, and the licence file on your disk.

The application

RepurposeThis runs entirely on your machine. Source files are read from disk and outputs are written to the folder you choose. The app makes no network request during normal use, including activation: the licence key is verified with a signature against a public key embedded in the binary.

  • No account. There is no sign-up, no email field, no password.
  • No telemetry. No analytics, crash reporting or usage counters are sent anywhere.
  • No machine fingerprinting beyond licensing. The 16-character machine ID is a truncated SHA-256 hash of an OS identifier, used only to bind a key. It is shown to you before anything is shared.
  • Local storage. Settings, presets, history and the licence live in Electron’s userData folder. Removing that folder removes them.

This website

This is a static site with no advertising pixels and no cross-site ad tracking. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, and only after you allow it.

Google Analytics

If you click “Allow analytics” in the banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-RT8BSEDW6N). It sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and sends page views to Google, including an approximate location derived from your IP address. Advertising features are not enabled, and IP anonymisation is requested.

With analytics allowed, two click events are recorded: download_installer (the Windows installer) and contact_telegram (a Telegram link). They carry the page path, the file name or link text — never the content of any form.

If you decline, analytics storage stays denied, the tag is disabled, and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in this browser's local storage; clear site data to reset it.

Fonts are served from this domain — no font CDN is contacted. Links to t.me only reach Telegram after you click them.

Installer downloads are served from this domain. Server logs may record the usual request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and bandwidth accounting; they are not used to build profiles.

When you buy

Purchases happen in a Telegram conversation. We receive what you choose to send: your Telegram handle, the machine ID, and whatever name or note you want on the licence and the invoice. We keep the issued key and that note in a local ledger so a lost key can be looked up.

We do not sell, rent or publish this information. Payment is handled by whatever provider you use; we do not see or store card numbers.

Your choices

  • Ask what is stored about you and get a copy — it is usually one row in a CSV.
  • Ask for that row to be deleted. The practical consequence is that a lost key can no longer be looked up or reissued.
  • Use the app air-gapped. Activation works offline once the key is in hand.
  • Change your analytics choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the banner will ask again.

Children

The app and this site are intended for professional and adult use, not for children under 16.
